With over 20 years of experience working in the fields of education and mental health, I have a heart for helping children and teens understand and process their unique emotions, while also offering skills and support to parents and caregivers as needed. Life can bring many challenges, and the more tools we possess, the better we are able to face our struggles, reach our fullest potential and thrive. As a former special educator, school psychological examiner and parent educator, I understand the value in designing an individualized approach to meeting the needs of my clients. Using evidence-based practices I walk beside clients with compassion and a spirit of collaboration – helping to facilitate change and empower personal growth.

My experience includes working with children, adults and families who are facing struggles related to the home, school, and community settings. Individual and family therapy is offered to address many types of concerns including academic challenges, ADHD, anxiety, child development, communication skills, depression, learning differences, parenting, school-related issues and stress. In addition, I have a thorough knowledge of educational and behavioral assessments and can assist families in understanding the role these diagnostic tools play in the educational setting.
