CCCA has always believed that finding a therapist should be easy and that everyone should have access to the mental health support they need.
We want you to know that while the outbreak of COVID-19 continues to alter, delay, and cancel many of our day-to-day activities, therapy doesn’t have to be one of them. In fact, prioritizing your mental health is more important than ever.
It’s also possible through today’s technology. Many therapists are now offering remote counseling sessions via video conferencing software. This means you can have a therapy session that will feel like a FaceTime or Skype call.
Maybe you were already considering counseling for something going on in your life (before the outbreak began), or maybe you’re seeking support now for help with the anxiety, stress, fear, and uncertainty everyone is experiencing as our world continues to change faster than we can keep up with. Whatever it is, now is the time – please, reach out. We can help.
Creve Coeur Counseling Associates and COVID-19
We feel grateful to be able to continue to provide low-cost community counseling amid the COVID-19 outbreak by offering virtual counseling sessions via secure video conferencing software. We will begin offering some in-person sessions starting 5/18. In-person sessions are subject to compliance with current local public health orders/mandates etc. Whether you are seeking therapy for help with anxiety, stress, isolation, being overwhelmed, depression, issues adjusting to working from home, relationship issues, or grief, our interns can help with these issues and more. Sessions with interns are $25 per 50-minute session and can be self-scheduled here.
Many of the professionals who share space with us are continuing to serve the STL community. Contact them directly for details about their availability for online sessions.
(Please note, the professionals listed online with CCCA are independent, private practice clinicians who act independently and are not employees, agents, or representatives of Creve Coeur Counseling Associates, LLC. We connect potential clients to clinicians who are a part of our community, but we do not have details about the business practices and policies, fees, or schedules for each respective clinician and their practice.)
CCCA will continue to hold our 2nd Saturday Seminar series. We have held April and May’s seminars online through Zoom with great success and feedback and will continue to hold seminars online as needed/indicated. If you have already registered for an upcoming seminar, you will receive instructions via email as it is available. We want you to feel confident registering for our seminars so please know that while we do not anticipate cancelling any scheduled seminars, you will receive a full refund if we do. To view and register for upcoming seminars, click here.
CCCA will continue to accept applications for our internship program. Our interns not only receive supervision in training while providing services to their community that help them meet their field experience requirements for graduation, we also provide them with experience and training about the business side of being in private practice. Those interested can apply here.
