NOT CURRENTLY TAKING NEW CLIENTS

Hi! My name is Courtney, and I am a Clinical Mental Health Counseling master’s student at Lindenwood University. I hold a deep passion for supporting healing—especially the wounds that quietly limit people from living into their full potential. I believe we are always in a state of renewal, continually invited to meet ourselves with hope, compassion, and grace. None of us are born knowing how to navigate life’s hardest moments; choosing to seek support is a brave first step.

I have experience working with diverse populations, including wide age ranges, individuals with substance‑use histories, clients experiencing psychosis, LGBTQ+ clients, and individuals carrying complex or long‑standing trauma. No narrative is too heavy—your story is welcome here exactly as it is.

My clinical work is informed by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Existential Therapy. I am actively expanding my scope in Internal Family Systems, EMDR, and Somatic approaches. At the core of my work is the belief that emotions are not “good” or “bad”—they are experiences that shape us, inform us, and deserve to be understood rather than judged.

I would describe my therapeutic presence as warm, open, curious, and non‑judgmental. I ask intentional questions—not to pressure a response, but to help you explore the patterns, beliefs, and fears that may be guiding your life. My goal is to walk alongside you as you meet the parts of yourself that hold pain, anxiety, or uncertainty. When we gently open the door to our inner world, we often discover strength, clarity, and self‑understanding we didn’t know we had.

It would be an honor to partner with you in your healing.

“The wound is the place where the light enters.”
